New Mexico Medical Review Association (NMMRA) helpline staff is available to accept requests for expedited reviews from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the capability to record calls received outside business hours at any time.

During normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) helpline staff is available to provide information to Medicare beneficiaries about their rights and responsibilities regarding an expedited appeal when being discharged from an acute hospital setting or from skilled nursing facility, home health care or hospice services.

NMMRA also assists beneficiaries or their loved ones with quality-of-care concerns and provides referrals to other helpful resources.
