The New Mexico Medical Review Association holds a variety of events and offers training opportunities for health care professionals in New Mexico at no charge to assist them in improving care for their patients. The following events/trainings require pre-registration. Because space at these events is limited, please register only for events that are appropriate to your setting and profession. Introduction to New Mexico MRSA Collaborative Webinar

Medication Therapy Management Collaborative - Learning Session 1 Make-up

The New Mexico Prescription Improvement Coalition (NMPIC) is pleased to host a make-up session for participants in its Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Collaborative who were unable to attend Learning Session 1. In this half-day session, participants will learn about documentation of MTM services; identification and management of patients with hyperlipidemia, diabetes and hypertension; negotiating health behavior change; pharmacotherapeutic considerations in the elderly; and best practices nationally on MTM. Medication Therapy Management Collaborative - Learning Session 3

The New Mexico Prescription Improvement Coalition (NMPIC) is pleased to host the third learning session for its Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Collaborative. In this full-day session, participants will continue learning about quality improvement techniques and MTM best practices; updates on disease management; and next steps on the MTM pilot. Community pharmacists participating in this pilot will receive reimbursement for qualifying patient interactions. Focus on Quality Meeting

NMMRA hosts quarterly Focus On Quality meetings for hospital quality improvement managers which serve as a forum for training, networking, sharing of best practices and information updates. These meetings also foster collective quality improvement activities in New Mexico. NMMRA provides training, networking and continuing education opportunities, at no cost to hospitals in New Mexico, to empower individuals to become change agents for their facilities. All hospital staff involved in quality is encouraged to attend. Lunch is provided.
